This post is long overdue seeing as i’ve been an intern at Fairsharemusic for over two weeks now but I thought i’d spread their honest sound. The company premise, although seemingly basic, is amazing. Just like any other download site, Fairsharemusic offers the latest music (honest, they’ve got everything from Ryan Adams, Jimmy Eat World, Megadeth to Seasick Steve) BUT, give 50% of profit from the music you buy to charity.
I’ve absolutely loved working at fairsharemusic so far with such great people and i’m easily pleased so much, that working in an office where I have the opportunity to request the music we play, well, that’s enough to keep this girl chirpy all day long. I’ll stop now before this gets preachy.
Gotye is great, Gotye is good, check out my review of him, you really should. Well ignoring whatever that just was you should definitely take note of an artist like Gotye. Although Walk Off The Earth with their incredible cover of ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ have really shone a light on such a fun track, there’s so many more on the album that show what an imaginative artist Gotye is.
A good few months ago now I reviewed a band for MuzicDizcovery.com by the name of American Verse and recently spotted that they have not ONLY been been added to a show with both Transit and A Loss For Words (both great pop-punk bands) but are front runners in AMP magazine’s ‘Unsigned Band Contest’. I’m so happy to see the ball finally rolling for this band so please please check them out and vote for them using the link below!
Two girls that may have been the first ever people to convince me that a holiday to Greece might be a nice idea for a sun dodger like me, obviously I bargained with an added museum visit and a couple of fun watersport activities though. Even when they swear it doesn’t sound that bad, so thankyou UKC.
